(BayAreaNewsTalk.com) – A suspect who had outstanding warrants out of Marin County was arrested Monday evening at a BART station in San Francisco, according to BART police.

At 6:58 p.m., officers detained a male suspect for loitering in an area of the Civic Center BART station known for drug activity, police said.

According to police, a records check revealed that the suspect had two outstanding arrest warrants from the Marin County Sheriff’s Office.

The warrants were for possessing narcotics paraphernalia and totaled $27,500, police said.

The suspect was arrested and booked into the San Francisco County Jail, police said.
