‘NO FEDERAL FUNDS’: President Trump Threatens UC Berkeley Over Violent Milo Protests
(BANT) – President Donald Trump has waded into the controversy that erupted violently on the campus of UC Berkeley last night.
This morning, President Trump took to Twitter to condemn the school for not allowing free speech on campus and seemed to blame the university for the violent protests to a speech by Breitbart tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos, which was cancelled due to safety concerns.
He also indicated that he would consider cutting the university off from federal funding. Here is the tweet from President Trump:
If U.C. Berkeley does not allow free speech and practices violence on innocent people with a different point of view – NO FEDERAL FUNDS?
