(BANT) – An older couple and their two grandchildren were rescued from a home in Fairfax last night after a mudslide and a fallen tree trapped them inside.

Marin County firefighters and sheriff’s deputies say, a little after 7:30 p.m., a large tree fell and struck a home in the 300 block of Olema Road. The tree and the mudslide trapped the family inside the home.

About an hour later, Marin County Fire reported that the whole family was rescued and nobody had been injured.
