(BayAreaNewsTalk.com) – A man was seriously injured when he was pushed to the ground and
kicked in the head on San Francisco’s Market Street on Wednesday night,
police said.

The attack was reported at 9:23 p.m. in the area of Market and
Seventh streets.

The 51-year-old victim was pushed to the ground by a suspect who
then kicked him in the head several times, according to police.

The suspect, described as a man around 30 years old, then fled on
foot toward a nearby BART station and remains at large as of this morning,
police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries,
which are considered life-threatening.
