Shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday, the Alameda County Fire Department announced on Twitter that PG&E had restored power to nearby homes at 39th and Adeline streets, where power had previously failed due to the fire.

Over the weekend, crews also removed a large construction crane that had been damaged by the intense flames and was threatening to fall.
