(BANT) – A bank in San Francisco’s Financial District was robbed Tuesday afternoon by a suspect with a note, police said.

The suspect, described as a man in his late 30s, walked into the bank in the 100 block of Battery Street around 3:30 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money, police said.

The teller complied, handing the suspect an unspecified amount of cash, and the suspect fled on foot.

No arrest was reported in the case as of this morning.
