(BayAreaNewsTalk.com) – A family returning home in Union City from a night out were robbed at gunpoint last weekend, police said today.

The robbery occurred at about 10 p.m. Sunday in the 33000 block of Washington Avenue, where the family had just pulled into their garage, according to police.

Two suspects armed with handguns approached and demanded money and other valuables from the three victims, all adults, police said.

The suspects took the valuables and then fled on Washington Avenue toward Oregon Street, police said. They remain at large today.

One suspect was described as a black man who is about 6 feet tall, weighs 185 pounds and had a mustache and goatee. No description of the second suspect was immediately available, police said.
