Family Of Bay Area Man Who Went Missing At Lake Tahoe Using Crowd-Funding For Search Drone (PHOTO)
(BANT) – The family of a man who went missing Thursday in Lake Tahoe and has set up a crowd-funding page to rent or buy a drone to help search for him.
At 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Dan Pham got on his kayak at Lester Beach in Lake Tahoe and has not been seen since. El Dorado County sheriff’s deputies, the U.S. Coast Guard and other state agencies searched the area but were unable to locate him.
Pham is the brother of an Alameda County Sheriff’s Office employee. Alameda County sheriff’s officials said the family is very distraught and is asking anyone in the area to keep an eye out for Pham.
