(BANT) – A tree fell on state Highway 12 in east Santa Rosa and struck at least one vehicle this morning, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The driver suffered minor injuries in the incident reported at 10:23 a.m. near Melita Road, CHP Officer Kerri Post said.

The tree was blocking the westbound lane as of late this morning and one-way traffic control is in effect, according to the CHP.

Caltrans crews responded to remove the tree, Post said.
