CHP Arrests Convicted Felon for Possessing Drugs and Weapon
(BayAreaNewsTalk.com) – The California Highway Patrol arrested a Marina man for drug and weapons offenses at his home Wednesday morning.
William Dixon, 34, a convicted felon, was under investigation by multiple agencies for suspected drug and illegal weapon offenses, the CHP said.
The CHP served a search warrant at Dixon’s Marina home a mile away from an elementary school around 7:30 a.m., according to the CHP.
Dixon was in possession of a semi-automatic rifle equipped with a silencer, and high capacity magazines, the CHP said. Heroin and methamphetamine also were found in Dixon’s residence, the CHP said.
Dixon was booked in the Monterey County Jail for being a felon in possession of an assault rifle and ammunition. A female resident of the house also faces possible charges of possession of drugs for sale, the CHP said.
