(by Keith Burbank) – Starting later this month, the California Public Utilities Commission will have a new executive director, CPUC officials said.

Effective Feb. 21, Alice Stebbins will step into the role, replacing Timothy Sullivan who is retiring.

Stebbins will work out of the agency’s Sacramento and San Francisco offices.

Stebbins has experience as the division chief for administration at the California Air Resources Board. She also has other experience as a state employee.

Stebbins’ work will include, among other duties, directing operations at the utilities commission.
