(BANT) – Fire crews in Alameda County were called to a different kind of rescue Sunday morning, helping nearly a dozen ducklings get out of a storm drain in Newark.

Twitter user Jenn Fred posted photos of the firefighters helping the 11 baby ducks out of the storm drain on Rockrose Drive near Jonquil Drive.

The ducklings were taken to a nearby creek and reunited with their mother.
